7. The F-35 Lightning
The F-35 Lightning (figure 44 and table 6 ), developed by Lockheed Martin, is a fifth-generation stealth fighter aircraft designed to minimize detection by radar, infrared sensors, and other surveillance systems. It has a streamlined, angular shape optimized to deflect or scatter radar waves rather than reflect them directly back to their source.
