2. Distribution and use of anechoic chambers in France

In a voluntary survey of French anechoic chambers commissioned by the Institut des sciences de l'ingénierie et des systèmes (INSIS) and the GdR Ondes of the CNRS, we counted 49 anechoic chambers, only ten of which were used for RES measurements. It is clear that several other private structures exist, but, partly because they routinely work on industrial or even confidential applications, we were unable to obtain any information about them that could be published .
