API; Application Programming Interface

An application programming interface. It's a software layer that enables an application to access specific standardized resources without having to understand the full range of functions. APIs exist for access to operating systems (OS), network access, and one or more applications.

FPA; Flat panel antenna

The Flat Panel Antenna (FPA) is suitable for fixed sites or portable use, where a small, unobtrusive antenna is required. The FPA is combined with an LCD screen that provides visual indication to facilitate antenna pointing and alignment.
