5. Markets and ecosystem

The market is made up of players from different business sectors, each with their own, sometimes divergent, strategies. The reasons for this technology's success are the same as those that are delaying the emergence of a common business model: multi-application and the diversity of players. Operating a secure service hosted by a third party adds to the complexity of an already complex business model. The NFC ecosystem is dense and abstruse if all the links in the chain are taken into account. However, we'll just mention the main players here: the user, the mobile operator, the service provider and the TSM.
