7. Outlook

In the era of 5G networks, security issues are global and protean. With the likely multiplication of services and uses, sometimes triggered by major crises such as the recent epidemic linked to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the attack surface is significantly increased.

The "Protective Networking" approach described in this article will undoubtedly make a major contribution to automating the implementation of Internet-wide mitigation plans, while enabling attacks of any scale to be anticipated, detected and dealt with before they can spread and reach their victims.
