3. Reflection, transmission, absorption
We show here that simple analytical reasoning is possible as soon as the admittances are known. The stacks below are illuminated by a plane wave of amplitude via the superstrate. We restrict ourselves to tangential fields, which allows us to use admittance properties.
3.1 Reflection
The reflection coefficient r 0 in amplitude of a stack illuminated on the superstrate side is defined for each polarization as :
