Comonomer; comonomer

Molecule used as a repeating unit in a copolymer. A copolymer is made up of at least two comonomers.

Heterojunction; heterojunction

In this context, a heterojunction is the juxtaposition of two materials of different chemical composition.

power conversion efficiency

The conversion efficiency of a photovoltaic cell is often expressed in %. It represents the proportion of energy delivered by the sun that is converted into electrical energy. A conversion efficiency of 20% means that the photovoltaic cell can convert 1/5th of the sun's energy into electrical energy. The reference solar spectrum in temperate regions is also known.
