4. Conclusion

This article outlines all the administrative and technical aspects of a foundry engineering project, and proposes an approach, a method, for tackling such a project. Starting with basic data corresponding to the wishes of the customer, the project owner, the approach is designed to be progressive, in stages, leading to a complete, finalized study. However, it has not been possible to cover every aspect of the foundry, particularly the technical aspects, and if necessary, the reader should refer to the articles specific to a particular area of the foundry (listed in Further reading).

Like other industries, the foundry has undergone major changes in recent years, and foundry engineering is adapting to these changes.
