4. Conclusion

Like all areas of today's industry, tooling is evolving at high speed, and only those who can keep ahead of these changes will be able to continue to compete in this hyper-competitive market.

Totally dependent on the presence of foundries, toolmakers not only depend on their industrial health, but are also a precious asset for them in maintaining their technological lead and cost prices.

A good understanding between foundrymen and toolmakers, an active partnership and an exchange of know-how are, for both, a guarantee of competitiveness, beyond the classic customer-supplier relationship.
