2. Implementation

2.1 Surface preparation

To obtain a strong bond, the adhesive must cling to a clean, stable, solid surface. It must also wet the surface perfectly, as we saw in paragraph 3.2.1 of article .

However, material surfaces are generally covered with various impurities (oxides, dirt, adsorbed products), which have to be removed in order to obtain a suitable surface.
