2. Structural and semi-structural adhesive applications

These applications are discussed in detail in the corresponding articles in this treatise. We will only give a general overview here, indicating for each type of material and for each industry the main adhesives that can be used and are used.

Figure 1 provides a partial illustration of the diversity of bonding applications for mass-produced parts, in the case of drip or fillet bonding.

Tables 4 and 5 in article present the comparative characteristics of structural and semi-structural adhesives used for bonding materials.
