2.1 Conductivity origin
Negative temperature coefficient thermistors (NTCs) are semiconducting ceramic materials, most often crystallizing in the form of a spinel structure, as shown in figure 3 . The elementary crystal lattice is made up of octahedral and tetrahedral crystallographic sites with oxygen ions at the apexes.
