1. Interviewing users

Indeed, it's not uncommon for users to have detected a real problem with their instrument, and to have placed it in "quarantine" while awaiting the date of its calibration/verification, or even to have sent it in for calibration ahead of time. Indeed, in the minds of users, calibration is often synonymous with reconditioning, so it's not unjustified to act in this way.

In this case, the non-conformity is probably of no consequence to anyone, and you'll just have to manage the actions to be taken on the medium :

  • repair, when possible and financially attractive ;

  • reform ;

  • restriction of use, when one or more of the instrument's functions fails, but the others still comply. In this case, clearly mark the instrument with the "restricted use" conditions;...
