3. Design a localized ventilation system

Please note

Questions relating to the design of the source capture device, essential in a ventilation system, will be dealt with in a dedicated data sheet. The same applies to the choice of extraction device (fan/pump).

3.1 Define requirements at each collection point

You need three pieces of information to define the requirement:

  • speed at sensor input ;

  • connection diameter ;

  • static pressure required to overcome sensor resistance.
