    In this article we have illustrated the methodological principles and a few applications of operational methods that enable us to assess uncertainty in the broad sense of LCA impact results, namely :

    • variability, by propagating probability distributions using a Latin Hyper Cube algorithm;

    • imprecision by means of interval calculation ;

    • uncertainty in the strict sense through possibility theory and fuzzy logic.
