7. Mistakes to avoid
7.1 Don't entrust your waste to a third party without checking that it has been properly disposed of.
You are responsible for the management of this waste until its final disposal or recovery, even when you entrust its treatment to a third party (article L. 541-2 of Code de l’environnement ). If a service provider whose authorization you have not checked commits offences (abandonment, burning, export to prohibited countries, pollution, etc.), you will be held liable.
