2. Calculate the level of risk

There are currently a multitude of risk assessment methods, but there is no single, official, regulatory method.

The most frequently used methods include :

  • the simplified chemical risk assessment methodology (ND 2233 (/home/products/mediatheque/doc/publications.html?refINRS=N) published by INRS . This comprehensive method is suitable for companies using a large number of products;

  • chemical risk assessment R 409, published by CNAMTS (Recommendation adopted by the Comité technique national de la chimie, du caoutchouc et de la plasturgie – CTNE);

  • CLARICE, a tool developed by CARSAT Alsace Moselle;

  • GERC, a tool developed by CARSAT Midi-Pyrénées...
