7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't draw up your quality manual by repeating the chapters of ISO 9001:2015.

This approach has a number of drawbacks. Your quality manual risks becoming "indigestible" for readers. What's more, it does little or nothing to reflect the company's approach to quality. It's a question-and-answer approach to the requirements of the standard, with no added value. Last but not least, if a standard is updated, it will be necessary to carry out a major overhaul of your quality manual.
