1. Fuel consumption

GMP (Groupe Moto-Propulsion) consumption is an important parameter for the user, who obviously wants to reduce the running costs of his vehicle. But beyond this particular consideration, reducing fuel consumption is becoming a planetary problem linked to the reasonable use and therefore preservation of natural resources, but also to the polluting emissions generated by fuel combustion.

A vehicle's fuel consumption can be expressed in :

  • in volume of fuel per unit distance (L/100 km) ;

  • in distance per unit volume (km/L) ;

  • in volume of fuel per unit time (L/h).
