Anthropocene

According to the Larousse dictionary, the Anthropocene is "the current period of geological time, when human activities have a strong impact on the planet's ecosystems (biosphere) and transform them at all levels (the beginning of the Anthropocene is said to coincide with the beginning of the Industrial Revolution in the 18th century)".

Hypermiling

Hypermiling involves driving or piloting a vehicle using techniques that minimize energy consumption, with the aim of covering the greatest distance on a full tank. Those who use these techniques are called "hypermilers". Many hypermiling techniques increase road risk, such as driving as close as possible to a heavy vehicle or, in the case of combustion-powered vehicles, switching off the engine on downhill gradients (loss of power steering, brake pressure)....
