4.1 Light vehicle regulations

The various regulations are becoming increasingly widespread throughout the world (see tables 69 , 70 , 71 , 72 , 73 ).

In Europe, Croatia, Iceland and Switzerland have aligned themselves with current European regulations.

The African continent seems to be lagging behind other continents. However, since 2008, it has been forbidden to import non-catalyzed vehicles into Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Malawi....
