Just type bike parking on YouTube and you'll come across some absolutely stunning videos of huge bike parking facilities being deployed in the Netherlands, with Utrecht Centraal at the forefront. It's true that the country's ratio of station parking spaces per inhabitant is certainly very high. But beyond a purely mathematical approach, it's important to understand that the volume of these parking lots is only one of the ingredients required for their optimal operation and therefore their massive use.
