AVAS (Audible Vehicle Alert System) :

Audible vehicle presence warning system.

Electric Vehicle (EV) :

A road vehicle whose powertrain consists solely of one or more electric motors.

Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) :

A road vehicle whose powertrain comprises a combination of electric motors and an internal combustion engine.

Thermal vehicle; Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) :

A road vehicle whose powertrain consists solely of an internal combustion engine.
