5.1 Supersonic aircraft
With nostalgia for Concorde (figure 23 )... Acousticians are fortunate enough to still be able to hear very noisy supersonic fighter jets. This poses problems for the military when it comes to training pilots, due to the many restrictions in place (e.g. night flight bans) .
