3. Conclusion

This article presents the method of juxtaposed conics, which makes it possible to establish a preliminary scenario for an interplanetary mission in a simple way. Path optimization is formulated as a mixed problem whose unknowns are the planets to be overflown and the overflight dates. This problem can be solved using randomized algorithms. Missions using Lagrange points require the modelling of a three-body problem and specific solving techniques.
