3. Dynamics and prospects for French port areas

Following the pioneering initiatives launched in the Dunkirk area in 2000 and in Marseille-Fos and Le Havre in the mid-2000s, this type of initiative has really taken off in various French ports since 2010. Today, the port's industrial and territorial ecology dynamic is illustrated by a wide variety of collaborations between stakeholders in the same area around resource management (figure 11 ):
