1.1 Limits of existing organizations

On several occasions in recent years, we've been able to gauge how sensitive public opinion is to working conditions. While we can't provide the keys, this sensitivity does point to the existence of a shared experience and a fundamental problem.

More quantitative data validate the general feeling: some 2,000 accidents per day, resulting in at least temporary incapacity. Together with occupational illnesses, the social cost of these accidents is estimated at 3% of France's national wealth. In terms of occupational illnesses, a veritable epidemic of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) is spreading.
