Amplicon; amplicon

DNA fragment amplified by a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) process.

Agents intercalants; intercalating agents

Molecules capable of inserting themselves between the plateaus formed by the bases of a nucleic acid and preventing transcription.

Concatemer ; concatemer

A long DNA molecule made up of a single repeated monomer forming a linear multimer.

Conductance; conductance

The conductance of a solution expresses the capacity of a portion of solution between two electrodes to let current through. It is denoted by G and expressed in siemens (S). Conductance is the inverse of resistance, expressed in ohms (Ω).
