2.1 Plant design

The rules (standards) for electrical installations, whatever their voltage (low voltage ( NF C 14-100 , NF C 15-100 ), high voltage ( NF C 13-100 , NF C 13-200 ), etc.) are based on the fundamental principle that their observance "is intended to ensure the safety of persons, domestic animals, livestock and property, against the dangers and damage which may result from the use of electrical installations under the conditions which can reasonably be foreseen".
