1. Mass measurement

To define the mass of a body, a weighing instrument necessarily uses the force of gravity exerted on it by the Earth, i.e. its weight P .

The measurement of mass therefore depends on the place where it is carried out, as well as on a number of parameters due to the environment and the execution of the measurement operation.

1.1 Influencing parameters

By taking these parameters into account, users can control the operation of their weighing instruments and maintain their performance over time.
