Bon état; good status

Good status of groundwater bodies based on criteria for assessing the quantitative and chemical status of groundwater bodies. While the quantitative objective is clearly defined by the Water Framework Directive (WFD), the objective of "good chemical status" required the development of a legislative framework that materialized in the adoption of the Groundwater Directive (2006/118/EC).
