4.1 Importance of the open-loop transfer function

Consider the servo system shown in figure 12 where L (jω) = K (jω)*G (jω) represents the transfer function of a K (jω) corrector and a G (jω) cascade process. L (jω) is the transfer function of the open-loop system.
