1. Presentation
Following a definition of non-stationary linear models, which will form the framework for the control methods we will present in the following sections, and in order to introduce the reader to these techniques, we will consider two points in detail. Firstly, the emergence of a non-stationary linear model from the linearization of a non-linear model around a trajectory, and secondly, the very simple example of the thermal control of a greenhouse.
