2. Challenges and issues in collaborative robotics
Industrialists' expectations in the field of human/robot coactivity are high, almost as much as their fears. At least, that's what a study conducted in 2018 by the Institut National de Recherche et de Sécurité (INRS) reveals. According to the survey of 21 companies of varying sizes, manufacturers are generally aware that the use of collaborative robotics cannot be considered without an in-depth functional analysis and a risk analysis.
For example, human/robot proximity requires safety measures, particularly in terms of the risk of physical shock (see figure 10 ). Furthermore, of the four categories of operations in which collaborative robotics can be used, only control operations are currently fully satisfactory
