5. Albedo measurement devices

A number of different devices are available on the market. The technical differences between them are the spectral bands used, the size of the surface measured and, of course, the price. Only one is manufactured in France, the AL-01 by THEMACS Ingénierie.

It's possible to build your own measuring device that's more or less compatible with the normative references, but this may be more than enough, for example, to multiply the number of fixed measuring points and ensure year-round monitoring of albedo evolution.
