3. Measurement channel switches

They are designed for testing gas or steam turbines, jet engines, compressors and, more generally, any field where a large number of measuring points are required.

3.1 Sensor input channel switches

These mechanical switches are no longer on the market, having been superseded by electronic multisensor systems. They are nonetheless original in their use of a single time-sharing sensor. Channel switching is performed by a motor-driven rotary distributor (figure 19 ).
