3. Transfer instruments

This chapter is dedicated to measuring instruments whose main function is to connect previous instruments. They are often referred to by suppliers as "calibrators", a term wrongly derived from the English language. We propose other names based on their functions.

These instruments are designed to measure pressure (digital manometers), generate and measure it (calibrators) and also regulate it (generator-measurers). In the following, we'll explain the field of application of each and the metrological performances that can be achieved.
