4. Application examples

This section presents various examples of applications from the scientific literature illustrating the potential of imaging for fluid mechanics measurement. The emphasis is on the coupling of techniques and ultra-fast imaging, which often leads to the most complex optical set-ups.

4.1 Two-dye PLIF and quilt effect column mixing measurement
