4. Conclusion

The techniques available are varied, differing in terms of performance and cost. Choosing the technique that provides the necessary and sufficient control must be the subject of an objective analysis, taking into account all the parameters we have just seen.

Leak testing is becoming increasingly widespread, and today affects buildings, food and pharmaceutical packaging, medical equipment and more. These are just some of the areas where knowledge of leak detection needs to be associated with the field in question, so that leak testing can sort out defective products with complete confidence and at the lowest possible cost.
