3. Thermographic measurement

Radiometric measurement is the basis for thermometric measurement (measurement of temperatures by radiation) and thermographic measurement (radiation mapping, generally aimed at temperature mapping or thermograms).

The measuring camera is calibrated on a blackbody at close range, under controlled laboratory conditions. This is the calibration situation.

This camera is then used on a real body in any conditions, on site. This is a measurement situation.

3.1 Calibration situation
