1.1 Simplified microscope diagram

The simplified microscope (figure 1 ) consists of the objective Ob and eyepiece Oc, assimilated to thin converging lenses, and the diaphragms Po and Dc respectively exit pupil of the objective and aperture diaphragm of the eyepiece placed in the intermediate space between objective and eyepiece.
