3.1 Experiences

His experiments involved monitoring variations in RMS voltage. This parameter is the acoustic parameter used to characterize continuous noise, i.e. a leakage signal.

Acoustic measurements were carried out with two resonant transducers in the frequency range usually used for leak detection (30-40 kHz). The characteristics of the acoustic instrumentation used are listed in table 5 .
