4. Conclusion and outlook
Measurement technology based on Bragg gratings has a number of advantages: firstly, its sensitivity and linearity (within certain limits) to user-defined parameters (temperature, deformation, etc.), and secondly, the spectral demultiplexing possibilities offered by the finesse of the gratings.
