Biodiversity; Biodiversité

The diversity of life forms that inhabit our planet: animal and plant species, fungi, bacteria, etc. It is assessed by considering the diversity of ecosystems, species and genes in space and time, as well as the interactions that exist within these levels of organization.

Ecosystem; Ecosystème

All living and non-living elements whose interrelationships create or maintain conditions favorable to life. The notion of ecosystem offers a dynamic approach based on flows, processes and relationships.

Project management which, in its implementation and monitoring, applies the principles of ecological engineering and promotes ecosystem resilience.
