2. Regulatory situation in France

In 2012, the World Health Organization (WHO) produced a series of four guidance booklets on the safe use of wastewater, excreta and greywater, covering policy, regulatory and technical recommendations. These booklets, and in particular No. 4, deal with source separation and the use of household wastewater and excreta in agriculture.
