INTRODUCTION
The aim of this text is to give a succinct presentation, illustrated by appropriate examples, of the various problems of activity, pharmaco-toxicological and pharmaceutical properties raised by the development of chiral drugs or geometric isomers. An overview of the regulations governing the marketing of chiral drugs will also be provided. This update complements the various publications on stereoisomerics and the therapeutic applications of drugs .
