AMM (Autorisation de mise sur le marché); marketing authorization

Authorization to market a new pharmaceutical speciality, issued by the health authorities to the pharmaceutical laboratory concerned.

Generic descriptor ; descripteur générique

Generic descriptors are usually used to indicate a property of a food or beverage category that may have an effect on human health.

Several generic descriptors are accepted by regulation no. 2019/343. The only one that may concern France is the term "tonic" accompanying a carbonated soft drink containing quinine as a bittering agent, present in the form of FL 14.011, FL 14.152 or FL 14.155.

They are not considered health claims.
