X-ray medical imaging. 2D image processing

These image processes are linked to medical procedures or specific organs. They focus on the physical characteristics of the organ in question, its texture, its contour... The aim is often to classify the image: does it or does it not contain the pathology in question? Where is it located? Etc.

These operations generally involve image calibration, segmentation or registration. They are sophisticated and not specific to X-ray imaging –. In fact, they mainly concern 3D images obtained by CT scanners or MRIs.
