INTRODUCTION
The condensing principle can be applied to two types of heating boiler: gas-fired and oil-fired. Thanks to their much higher efficiency than older systems, condensing boilers are one way of reducing energy costs. Another advantage is their superior heat output compared with conventional oil- or gas-fired boilers. However, they must be combined with insulation that complies with RT 2012 standards.
