The western regional department of Cerema (Centre d'études et d'expertise sur les risques, l'environnement, la mobilité et l'aménagement) has been looking into the future of heating networks, particularly in the context of low-energy buildings.

4.1 Heat networks and BBC

Many energy companies are considering the benefits of using district heating networks to cost-effectively supply the low heating requirements of new low-energy neighborhoods.
